Victoria Spruce is a British footwear designer currently living and working in Islington, London. Having wanted to design shoes since a young age Victoria embarked on a journey through two prestigious footwear degrees at Royal College of Art and Cordwainers, aiming to develop her skills, seek new inspirations and discover her sculptural design handwriting.

Victoria has always been inspired by the lines and silhouettes found in architecture and sculpture, which is clearly visible throughout her footwear collections. Her creations make use of structural hard materials and new technologies combined with luxury soft leathers and traditional shoe making techniques. The result is a combination of hard and soft, a contrast of matte vs. shine, and an unlikely pairing of modern technology and traditional techniques creating sculptural and fresh new footwear.

On graduating in 2011 Victoria has since seen her shoes featured in press all over the world and being shared online globally. In september 2011 her MA collection was selected to be part of Vauxhall Fashion Scout's first Graduate Showcase during London Fashion Week, while during the same month DeZeen also featured Victoria's designs on their Designer Platform during London Design Week. The constant appreciation of Victoria's collection also saw her selected to show in Paris by Art's Thread at Premiere Classe during January 2012 and then in July 2012 winning the Vogue Talents Accessory Award at ITS11 (International Talent Support) in Trieste, Italy. After Selfridges asked Victoria to display her shoes in the London store Shoe galleries during January 2013, it became clear that Victoria needed to get her shoes out and onto women's feet.

And so the story begins…
